Belgrade, 31 March – The director and founder of Ragusa, Vladan Grbović, has received a letter of appreciation for contributing to strengthening cooperation between Russia and the Balkans by the Russian Geographical Society.

Ragusa continues to develop its activities through connecting people, fostering ideas, and implementing projects aimed at strengthening international cooperation.
In this context, particular significance is given to the recognition awarded by the Russian Geographical Society, one of the oldest and most prominent institutions in Russia, which is celebrating its 180th anniversary this year.
The letter of appreciation was presented to Ragusa’s director and founder, Vladan Grbović, for his contribution to strengthening cooperation between Russia and the Balkan region.

The document is signed by Sergey Shoigu, President of the Russian Geographical Society and Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
“This recognition is truly meaningful for us. While our greatest motivation comes from the people who are part of Ragusa and the ideas we build together, acknowledgements like this confirm that what we are doing has a broader impact and encourage us to keep going,” said Grbović.
This recognition serves as an additional encouragement for Ragusa to continue developing initiatives that create space for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and stronger connections among young people from different parts of the world.
